Swiss Gamers Network is a not-for-profit organization which aims to bring together the wider community of gamers in Switzerland.
The committee of Swiss Gamers Network is active in three main areas:
- Organizing video game tournaments to give players an opportunity to meet up;
- Working with the Swiss Museum of Games (La Tour-de-Peilz) to stage exhibitions on different aspects of video games;
- Organizing conferences in support of the prevention booklet developed in collaboration with psychologist Serge Tisseron, a patron of the Network. Right from the outset, our association has advocated responsible use of video games and compliance with the PEGI rating system. Swiss Gamers Network decided to participate in the “GameCulture” project in order to foster better public understanding of the artistic side of video games.
Becoming a member of Swiss Gamers Network is straightforward and free of charge. In return, members receive a membership card which enables them to obtain discounts on the purchase of games and accessories in partner shops.
